Jaipur, October 3 (Udaipur Kiran News): The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Head Constable Ramniwas (Belt No. 15), posted at Ranoli Police Station, Sikar district, red-handed while accepting a ₹15,000 bribe. The action was carried out by the ACB Jhunjhunu unit under the directions of ACB Headquarters.

According to Additional Director General of Police (ACB), Smt. Smita Srivastava, the bureau received a complaint stating that the accused was demanding a ₹20,000 bribe from the complainant in exchange for not taking action in a missing woman case registered against the complainant’s nephew at Ranoli Police Station.
Following the verification of the bribery demand on September 28, 2025, it was confirmed that Head Constable Ramniwas had asked for ₹15,000 to help the complainant’s nephew.
On October 3, 2025, the ACB team laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting the bribe amount of ₹15,000 outside the police station. The money was recovered from the pocket of his trousers.
The trap operation was carried out under the supervision of DIG Rajesh Singh (Jaipur Range) and led by DySP Shabbir Khan along with the ACB Jhunjhunu team.
The accused has been detained, and further questioning and investigation are underway. A case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act, and follow-up investigation will be conducted by the ACB.
