The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 is expected to make its global debut soon after the Pixel Buds Pro launch at the Google I/O event in May 2022. According to a tip on social media, Google’s upcoming True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones may come in four new colors, with magenta being one of the possible options. The development began a few days after the specifications of another Google product, the Pixel Watch 3, appeared online.
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 Colors (Expected)
According to a post by tipster Dylan Roussel on X (formerly Twitter), the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 could come in four color options, matching the number of color options introduced by its predecessor, the Pixel Buds Pro. Options include Haze, Mojito, Porcelain and Raspberry.
The Google Pixel Buds Pro came out in four colors, but none of them made it into the successor. Initially, they were available in charcoal, coral, mist and lemongrass colors, and they were presented in Bay and Ceramic colors at the Made by Google event last year.
According to the shades provided by the tipster, the magenta color variant is the same as the pink color of the recently launched Google Pixel 9. However, it is not known whether these color names have been finalized by the tech company.
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 Specs (Awaiting)
Google’s upcoming flagship TWS earbuds have reportedly appeared on Temco’s UL certification website, hinting at some of the charging case’s specifications. Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 comes with a charging case model number GH8TQ. It might come with a 650mAh Li-ion battery. If this is true, then the current generation TWS earphones will be a bit of a battery upgrade as they pack a 620mAh battery into the charging case.
The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 is expected to be launched on August 13 at the Google Made by Google event. In addition to the flagship TWS headphones, the Mountain View-based company also releases the Google Pixel 9 series and the Pixel Watch 3.
