Lucknow, March 25, 2025: In a shocking incident reported from the Chinhat area of Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, a young woman’s wedding was called off after her ex-boyfriend sent explicit images and threats to her fiancé. The victim has filed an FIR against the accused, identified as Himanshu from Bhanmau, Barabanki, alleging severe harassment, hacking, and blackmailing.

Ex-Boyfriend’s Revenge Breaks Wedding Plans
The victim, a resident of Chinhat, Lucknow, alleged that she previously had a friendship with Himanshu, during which he illegally accessed explicit photos and videos from her mobile phone. After the woman’s marriage was arranged, Himanshu, in a vindictive move, sent the compromising pictures directly to her fiancé, causing outrage and leading him to cancel the marriage.
Not stopping there, the accused allegedly hacked into the email IDs of both the victim and her fiancé, further intimidating them by tracking their locations and issuing threats over the phone.
Police Register FIR, Begin Investigation
Acting on the woman’s complaint, Chinhat Police have registered an FIR against Himanshu. Chinhat Police Station in-charge Bharat Pathak confirmed that a formal complaint had been lodged and assured thorough investigation into the accusations.
The victim stated in her FIR that the accused repeatedly threatened to circulate the explicit content online, subjecting her to continuous mental harassment.
