Nutritional Awareness Programme Highlights Importance of Balanced Diet at Sai Tirupati University

Udaipur, July 20: A Nutritional Awareness Programme was organised for students at the Venkateshwara College of Nursing, under Sai Tirupati University, to promote awareness about the importance of balanced nutrition and its role in disease management.

The programme was attended by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Nahar, Registrar Devendra Jain, Deputy Registrar Dr. Kanupriya Tiwari, and College of Nursing Principal Vijay Singh Rawat. The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the students and emphasised that nutrition awareness plays a vital role in building a healthier society.

During the event, B.Sc. Nursing second-semester students presented models, charts and presentations explaining dietary requirements and nutritional management for various health conditions. They highlighted the importance of proper nutrition in diseases such as anaemia, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, kidney disorders and heart diseases.

The students explained how balanced and disease-specific diets can support treatment, improve recovery and help maintain overall health.

Nutrition In-charge Kiran Regar played a key role in organising the programme. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants, students and guests for their contribution to the successful conduct of the programme.
