Kolkata : India pacer Avesh Khan has said that he thoroughly enjoyed his T20 debut game in Kolkata and “will try to keep performing … to make India win”. Avesh played his first T20 on Sunday against the West Indies at the Eden Gardens. He gave away 42 runs off 4 hours and went wicket-less.
In a video posted by BCCI on Twitter, Avesh told his teammate Venkatesh Iyer: “I felt really good. Every player dreams about playing for the country and my dream got fulfilled. I enjoyed the moment, the entire match.
We won the game, so it was a good feeling. I will try to serve Indian team as much as possible. “Obviously I was a little nervous… Rohit bhai backed me, Rahul sir told me to enjoy my debut game… Will try to keep performing like this to make India win.”
