New Delhi : The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to the Central and state governments after hearing a PIL filed by advocate Durga Dutt for taking steps to sensitise people about performing fundamental duties enshrined under the Constitution.

Everybody is clamouring for rights but nobody cares about duties, petitioner-cum-lawyer Dutt told the court. A Bench led by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul issued notice to the Centre and states on the PIL and sought their responses. “We will issue notice and let us see,” the Bench said.
