Udaipur, March 25, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) — A three-day training programme on “Preparation of Traditional Dairy Products and Entrepreneurship Development” concluded with a valedictory ceremony at the School of Agricultural Sciences, Dabok, under Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth.

The closing session was chaired by Prof. Gajendra Kumar Mathur, Dean of the School of Agricultural Sciences, while Dr Gopal Lal, Acting Director of National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, attended as the chief guest.
The programme began with a welcome address and presentation of the training report by Nodal Officer Prof. Indrajeet Mathur. He highlighted the objectives, activities, and outcomes of the three-day training, noting that 40 women livestock farmers actively participated in the programme.
Addressing the participants, Dr Gopal Lal emphasised the crucial role of women livestock farmers in the Indian economy, stating that the dairy sector contributes significantly to the country’s GDP. He also informed about various research and training initiatives being conducted by NAARM and encouraged farmers and women to take full advantage of such programmes.
In his presidential address, Prof. Gajendra Kumar Mathur urged participants to apply the knowledge gained during the training and move towards self-employment. He said such initiatives serve as a milestone in empowering rural women economically.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot conveyed his message, extending best wishes and blessings to all participants.
The programme’s Principal Investigator Prof. Narayan Singh Solanki expressed gratitude to the guests, participants, and organisers. The event was conducted by Dr Saurabh Rathore.
Several dignitaries, including Dr Anand Singh Jodha, Dr Aruna Parihar, Ms Damini, Dr Bhavana Singh, and Ms Sonia Jaiswani, were present on the occasion.
The programme concluded on a positive note, with participants pledging to adopt the learned techniques and move towards self-reliance.
