Raipur, 2 September (Kiran News): Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 891.7 mm since 1 June this year, according to the State Flood Control Room established by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department. As of Tuesday, Bastar district has reported the highest rainfall in the state at 1,292.9 mm, while Bemetara district has received the lowest at 432.1 mm.

In Raipur division, the rainfall recorded is as follows: Raipur district 756.4 mm, Balodabazar 618.9 mm, Gariaband 747.1 mm, Mahasamund 651.2 mm, and Dhamtari 797.6 mm.
In Bilaspur division: Bilaspur 843.2 mm, Mungeli 829.7 mm, Raigarh 1,055.4 mm, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh 721.2 mm, Janjgir-Champa 1,038.6 mm, Sakti 920.4 mm, Korba 851.3 mm, and Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 851.4 mm.
In Durg division: Durg 713.5 mm, Kabirdham 627.5 mm, Rajnandgaon 798.3 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki 1,143.2 mm, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai 666.9 mm, and Balod 977.9 mm.
In Surguja division: Surguja 633.1 mm, Surajpur 965.0 mm, Balrampur 1,277.8 mm, Jashpur 871.3 mm, Korea 984.4 mm, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur 894.4 mm.
In Bastar division: Kondagaon 837.9 mm, Kanker 1,047.0 mm, Narayanpur 1,135.1 mm, Dantewada 1,243.6 mm, Sukma 988.8 mm, and Bijapur 1,211.9 mm of average rainfall have been recorded so far.
