Udaipur, April 25, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat has secured a place among the top three MPs from Rajasthan in asking questions during the Lok Sabha Budget Session. He also recorded an attendance of 90 percent during the session.

According to available information, Rajasthan MPs asked 11.5 percent of the total questions in the Budget Session, while their representation in Parliament is around four and a half percent.
Among Rajasthan MPs, Pali MP P.P. Chaudhary asked the highest number of questions at 76, followed by Bhilwara MP Damodar Agrawal with 73 questions. Dr. Mannalal Rawat from Udaipur raised 68 questions on various issues.
A total of 6,939 questions were asked by MPs during the Lok Sabha Budget Session, out of which 798 questions were raised by 20 MPs from Rajasthan. Kota MP Om Birla, being the Lok Sabha Speaker, was not included in the list. Similarly, Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Bhupendra Yadav, Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Bhagirath Chaudhary were also not part of this count.
Dr. Rawat also maintained a strong presence in Parliament with a recorded attendance of 90 percent. The matters raised by him included health, youth, skill development, tribal development, rural development, railways, roads, finance, and water resources, on which action has also been taken.
