Washington, April 26 (Udaipur Kiran): A security scare unfolded at the White House during a dinner event after loud explosion-like sounds were heard, followed by reports of gunfire, according to ANI.
During the programme, sudden loud noises triggered panic among attendees. Security personnel, including Secret Service agents, immediately took control of the situation and escorted former US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump to a safe location.
Subsequent reports confirmed that Trump was unharmed and did not sustain any injuries. Following the incident, he was quickly surrounded by security, while multiple agencies rushed to the banquet hall to secure the area.
According to media reports, as officials moved through the crowd towards the stage, a voice was heard shouting for people to clear the way.
A video of the incident has also surfaced online, capturing the loud sounds and the swift evacuation of Trump, Melania Trump, and other senior leaders to safety.
