Heat Wave Continues in NCR; Yellow Alert Issued

Noida, April 25: The intense heat wave continues to grip the National Capital Region (NCR), including Noida, with a yellow alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for today, April 25. The forecast indicates that the heat wave conditions will persist throughout the day.

Since morning, residents have been facing significant discomfort due to the scorching sun and hot winds. The IMD has reported that the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 43 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will hover between 26 to 27 degrees Celsius. There is also a possibility of heat waves during both daytime and evening hours, further intensifying the heat.

Humidity levels are predicted to be around 40 percent in the morning, dropping to 20 percent by evening. However, relief may be on the horizon as weather changes are expected to begin on April 26. Cloud cover is anticipated, along with strong surface winds during the day, which may slightly reduce the intensity of the sun, although temperatures will still be around 43 degrees.

According to the weather forecast, partial cloud cover is expected on April 27, with light rain and thunderstorms possible in some areas. The maximum temperature is likely to remain around 43 degrees, with a minimum of about 26 degrees. The weather is expected to change further on April 28 and 29, with the likelihood of rain accompanied by thunder.

On April 28, temperatures may drop to a maximum of 41 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees, while April 29 could see a maximum of 40 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees. Increased humidity levels may also be felt during these days. On April 30, partial cloud cover and the possibility of thunderstorms are expected to continue, with further temperature drops anticipated, reaching a maximum of 39 degrees and a minimum of 24 degrees.

Weather experts indicate that while the severe heat and heat wave conditions will persist until April 25, changes in weather patterns are expected to start from April 26, leading to a slight decrease in temperatures along with light rain between April 27 and 29.
