Patna, March 30: In a remarkable display of talent, girls in Bihar have excelled in the 10th-grade examination results, setting new benchmarks for success. The inspiring stories behind their achievements reveal deep struggles. Sabreen Parveen, who secured a joint first position, hails from a family where her father runs a puncture repair shop, while Jyoti Kumari, who achieved the fourth position in the state, is the daughter of a humble tea stall owner.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the results for the 10th-grade examinations on Sunday. Notably, three out of the top four positions were secured by female students.
Joint first-place winners, Pushpanjali Kumari from Jamui and Sabreen Parveen from Vaishali, showcased their hard work. Nahid Sultana from Begusarai took the second position, while Anupa Kumari from Buxar and Omkar Kumar from Begusarai jointly secured the third position, with Omkar being the only male student among the top three. Jyoti Kumari from Samastipur claimed the fourth spot.
Sabreen Parveen expressed her joy, stating, “I feel very good. I studied for a few years in a private school. I didn’t study by hours but set daily goals for myself.” She dreams of becoming a doctor and encouraged fellow students to study diligently to achieve similar success.
Meanwhile, Jyoti Kumari, daughter of tea vendor Pradeep Rai from the Vibhutipur area, has also made her family proud by securing the fourth position in the Bihar Board’s Class 10 examination. The local community celebrated her achievement, showering her with congratulations.
Jyoti attributed her success to her parents and the teachers who contributed to her education, saying, “I would like to give credit for my success first to my parents and also to all the teachers who supported my education.”
