Quetta/Washington, October 22 (Udaipur Kiran): The Baloch National Movement (BNM) has accused Pakistan of being a “terrorist state” during an awareness campaign held outside the White House in the United States. In a statement released to the media, the BNM said its members distributed pamphlets highlighting human rights violations in Balochistan’s Jhaari region and the worsening humanitarian situation there.

The campaign was led by BNM USA President Sami Baloch, who alleged that the Pakistani military continues to oppress civilians in the region. The pamphlets circulated during the event described Pakistan as a country that “exploits the resources of the Baloch and other oppressed communities” and “sells Balochistan’s geographical importance for political and economic gains.”
According to a report by The Balochistan Post (Pashto edition), Ukrainian activists also joined the event to express solidarity with the Baloch people and to share their views on global struggles for freedom and justice.
Sami Baloch said, “The ongoing brutality against innocent people in Balochistan must end. Pakistan’s military continues to use excessive force against civilians to suppress local leaders and silence political resistance.”
The pamphlets distributed by BNM further alleged that Pakistani forces have intensified military operations in the Jhaari area since mid-September 2025. The group claimed that innocent civilians have been subjected to violence, forced displacement, and military assaults aimed at eliminating local dissent.
The pamphlet also mentioned specific incidents: on September 17, 2025, a drone strike in Jhaari reportedly killed several people, including Sanullah, Amna, Ali Akbar, Lal Bibi, Mohammad Hassan, and Mohammad Yaqoob. Another alleged attack took place on October 5, 2025, when Pakistani forces launched helicopter gunfire and bombings in the Mola Chari area, resulting in the deaths of several civilians and children.
The BNM’s statement concluded by urging the international community to take notice of what it described as ongoing “state-sponsored atrocities” in Balochistan and to hold Pakistan accountable for human rights violations.
