Udaipur, June 5 (Udaipur Kiran): Several villages under the Devas cluster of Udaipur have achieved 100 per cent Ayushman Card coverage under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, reflecting growing awareness about health security among rural residents.

MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat said that under the Parliamentary Cluster Development Project, villages including Talai, Moondawali, Akodada, Nandwel and Devas in Jhadol tehsil have achieved full coverage. Gorana recorded 99.58 per cent coverage, while Dhadhawali reached 98.25 per cent. Similarly, Dodawali, Madri and Bachhar villages in Girwa tehsil have also achieved 100 per cent coverage.
Dr. Rawat said that in cases where cards are yet to be issued, the primary reason is the pending e-KYC process. The remaining eligible beneficiaries will receive their cards once the formalities are completed.
He said the Ayushman Bharat scheme is among the country’s largest health protection programmes, providing quality healthcare support to economically weaker families. He credited public awareness campaigns, continuous efforts by public representatives and administrative support for the achievement.
According to Dr. Rawat, the growing participation of villagers has helped achieve significant progress in extending health security benefits to rural communities.
