Mumbai, December 2 (Udaipur Kiran) | Shares of Ashok Leyland were trading higher on the BSE after the company reported a strong 29 per cent growth in its total sales for November. The stock was trading at Rs. 159.00, up by 0.85 points or 0.54 per cent from its previous closing of Rs. 158.15.

The scrip opened at Rs. 158.25 and touched an intraday high of Rs. 161.40 and a low of Rs. 156.65. So far, 12,55,463 shares have been traded on the counter.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock with a face value of Rs. 1 touched its 52-week high of Rs. 161.80 on November 27, 2025, and a 52-week low of Rs. 95.20 on April 7, 2025. The stock’s one-week high and low stand at Rs. 161.80 and Rs. 144.10, respectively. The company’s current market capitalisation is Rs. 93,453.03 crore.
Promoter holding in the company stands at 51.51 per cent, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 37.98 per cent and 10.50 per cent, respectively.
Ashok Leyland reported a 29 per cent rise in total sales, including exports, at 18,272 units in November 2025, as compared to 14,137 units in November 2024. During the month, the company’s Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales grew 33 per cent year-on-year to 6,591 units.
Its Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) truck sales increased by 25 per cent to 8,952 units, while bus sales rose 35 per cent to 2,729 units.
Total domestic sales stood at 16,491 units in November 2025, registering a growth of 32 per cent year-on-year. Domestic LCV sales increased by 37 per cent to 6,253 units. Domestic M&HCV truck sales rose by 30 per cent to 8,576 units, while bus sales grew by 27 per cent to 1,662 units.
