Jaipur, June 7, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Rajasthan Police’s Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) carried out two major anti-drug operations in Pali and Bikaner districts, recovering illegal narcotics and arresting two accused allegedly involved in drug trafficking.

ANTF Inspector General of Police Vikas Kumar said the actions were part of the statewide campaign against narcotics being conducted under the guidance of Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma.
In Pali district, ANTF received intelligence inputs that illegal drug activities were being operated from a house in Mandigarh village. Acting on the information, the ANTF team, along with Sadri Police, conducted a raid at the residence of Naresh Prajapat. During the search, police recovered 100.86 grams of MD drugs and 9.11 grams of adulterated powder allegedly used for mixing with the narcotic. Accused Naresh Prajapat (32) was arrested and the contraband was seized.
In a separate operation in Bikaner, ANTF and JNV Colony Police raided Jagdamba Hotel near the Jaipur-Jodhpur Bypass Toll Plaza following information about suspected illegal activities. During the raid, hotel operator Parmaram Jat (45), a resident of Suranana in Lunkaransar area, allegedly attempted to flee with a plastic sack.
Police, assisted by a trained sniffer dog, intercepted the suspect and recovered 1.750 kg of illegal doda chura along with Rs 11,000 in cash allegedly linked to narcotics sales. The accused was taken into custody.
Police said further investigation is underway to identify the source of the seized narcotics, trace the supply chain and uncover other members of the trafficking network.
The ANTF chief appreciated the efforts of the ANTF, Sadri Police and JNV Colony Police teams involved in the operations and said they would be honoured for their work.
