New Delhi, March 15 : Al Nassr secured a dominant 3-1 victory over Al Khulood in the Saudi Pro League 2024-25 match held at Al Awwal Park in Riyadh on Saturday. The team’s three-star forwards – Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, and newly signed Jhon Duran – found the net, leading their side to an important win.

Ronaldo Scores Early, Extends Golden Boot Lead
The match started in high intensity, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring in just the 4th minute. Al Khulood’s goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe saved an initial shot from Duran, but Ronaldo capitalized on the rebound, slotting it into an open net.
🔥 This was Ronaldo’s 19th league goal of the season, putting him two goals ahead of Al Shabab’s Abderrazak Hamdallah (17 goals) in the Golden Boot race.
Al Khulood thought they had equalized five minutes later, when Miziane Maolida scored from the edge of the box. However, VAR disallowed the goal due to a foul on Sadio Mane.
Mane & Duran Extend Al Nassr’s Lead
Al Nassr doubled their lead in the 24th minute, when Ronaldo provided a brilliant through ball to Salem Al-Najdi. Najdi then delivered a perfect cross inside the box, which Sadio Mane finished clinically to make it 2-0.
Just four minutes before halftime, Jhon Duran showcased his skill. The Colombian striker controlled the ball with his left foot outside the box before curling a stunning shot into the right corner, putting Al Nassr 3-0 up before the break.
Al Khulood Pulls One Back After Al Nassr’s Red Card
The second half brought some challenges for Al Nassr, as Nawaf Boushal was sent off after receiving two yellow cards within 10 minutes. Playing with a numerical advantage, Al Khulood managed to score in the 70th minute, when Jackson Muleka’s shot deflected off Ali Lajami and crossed the goal line.
Despite Al Khulood’s attempts to mount a comeback, Al Nassr’s defense held firm, securing a crucial 3-1 win in front of their home fans.
