Ajmer (Udaipur Kiran): Ajmer’s 9-year-old Divisha Vaishnav impressed everyone with her knowledge and confidence on Sony TV’s Kaun Banega Crorepati Junior, winning 25 lakh points before choosing to quit the game on the 14th question. Along with the points, she also won a scooter as a special prize.

In the episode aired on Tuesday, Divisha answered 13 questions correctly on the hot seat hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. She played the game smartly but had exhausted all her lifelines by the time she reached the 14th question.
The episode began at 9 p.m. with the 10th question worth 5 lakh points: “The book shown in the picture is about a place from which Indian state?” Divisha answered correctly and secured 5 lakh points.
In the Super Sandook round, she gave 7 correct answers out of 10, reviving her “Expert View” lifeline. Using it, she won 7.5 lakh points on the 11th question. For the 12th question, she used the “Hint” lifeline to win 12.5 lakh points, and with the “Audience Poll” lifeline, she answered the 13th question correctly to reach 25 lakh points.
However, at the 14th question — “The International Board on Books for Young People’s Lifetime Achievement Award is named after which author?” — with no lifelines left, Divisha chose to quit the game.
Her total winnings of 25 lakh points will be credited to her account and released once she becomes an adult.
Divisha, a Class 4 student from Shastri Nagar, is the daughter of LIC employee Govind Vaishnav.
