Anant Ambani Launches ‘Champions of Care’ Initiative, Aims to Support 2 Million Animals Every Year
Jamnagar, October 6 (Udaipur Kiran): Anant Ambani has launched the ‘Champions of Care’ initiative to support animals across India. The initiative by Vantara has brought together more than 50 animal welfare organisations and is expected to provide assistance to around 2 million animals every year.
The initiative will support animals through treatment, rescue, shelter, food and long-term care.

Support for Stray and Injured Animals
The initiative will cover street dogs and cats, abandoned and injured animals, as well as cattle, donkeys and horses. Depending on their requirements, animal welfare organisations will receive support such as ambulances, rescue equipment, medical treatment and diagnostic machines, shelters and training.
Anant Ambani said that many people care for animals in need every day despite having limited resources. Through ‘Champions of Care’, he said, the initiative aims to stand with them and strengthen their efforts.
“For us, this is the true meaning of ‘Every Life Matters’,” Ambani said.
Vantara and Organisations Sign Agreement
Vantara and the organisations associated with the initiative have also signed a memorandum of understanding to work together. Under the agreement, they will share information, experience and resources so that organisations working to help animals can receive better support according to their specific needs.
