Washington, May 19 — In a significant diplomatic development, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin today in an effort to push for a ceasefire in Ukraine, following what officials are calling Russia’s largest aerial assault on Ukraine to date.
According to Kremlin sources, the call between the two leaders has been confirmed. President Trump also stated he plans to speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and key NATO leaders to coordinate further diplomatic steps.
