Jaipur (Kiran News) – The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification promoting five Rajasthan Police Service (RPS) officers to the Indian Police Service (IPS) on vacancies for the year 2024. The officers promoted include Piyush Dixit, Vishnaram, Pushpendra Singh Rathore, Kamal Shekhawat, and Avneesh Kumar Sharma, all from the 1998 batch.
A unique highlight of this promotion list is the inclusion of a husband and wife duo. Pushpendra Singh Rathore, currently posted as Additional Superintendent of Police in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), and Kamal Shekhawat, posted as Additional SP at Police Headquarters, have both been promoted to IPS together. The couple joined the RPS together and now move up to the IPS ranks at the same time.
