Iconic offers the bike for sale in India. The Royal Enfield Silhouette is packed with plenty of horsepower and torque – it puts out more power than the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
Twin Barrel 1000cc: engine and features
The twin-cylinder engine is powered by a 1000cc V-twin that uses two 500cc units from Royal Enfield. Engine power is 53.7 HP. And the peak torque of 82 Nm significantly surpasses the discontinued Maruti Alto 800 by 48 HP. and 69 Nm. The engine is connected to a five-speed, seven-disc clutch transmission.
Overall, the bike has retained the look of the classic Royal Enfield, albeit with minor changes to suit the more powerful engine and presumably the rider’s handling needs. The overall dimensions of the motorcycle are 2290 mm in length and 1110 mm in height. The longest wheelbase is 1550 mm. This motorcycle was offered for sale in 2017 at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.35 lakh.
