Udaipur : The construction of another terminal at Udaipur Maharana Pratap Airport will open the way for international flights from Udaipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone of this terminal on June 27, 2023. It will cost around Rs 887 crore.
After the construction of the terminal, all the standards for international flights will be met in Udaipur. After the construction of the terminal, all the facilities will be developed according to the standards for national and international flights. Customs immigration will also be implemented strictly.
Currently, 16 flights are being operated from Udaipur Airport. From October 29, the number of flights will increase to 25 according to the winter schedule. New flights will also be added this time in November and December.
1.21 lakh passengers traveled by air in September
In September this time, a record 1 lakh 21 thousand 714 passengers traveled by air from Udaipur Airport. The number of air passengers at Udaipur Airport has been increasing continuously for the past 3 years. The figure of air passengers in December and January is expected to reach two lakh.
In August 2023, 1 lakh 13 thousand 315 passengers traveled from Maharana Pratap Dabok Airport this time. With the number of passengers crossing the 1 lakh mark since August, airline companies are quite excited.
