Chandigarh, September 30 (Udaipur Kiran) : The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Chandigarh has announced an exciting opportunity for medical professionals. Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview and document verification, with a monthly salary of ₹67,700 for those who are chosen. Additional benefits and allowances will also be provided.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate medical degree (such as MD/MS/DNB/MCH/DM) from a recognized institution and be registered with the Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council. The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 45 years as of the interview date, October 5, 2026, with age relaxation available for reserved category candidates.
Those attending the interview must pay a registration fee of ₹500 for general candidates and ₹250 for SC candidates. The walk-in interviews will take place on October 5 at 2 PM in the office of the Director Principal (Room No. 210), Level-2 Block D, GMCH, Chandigarh.
