Trump Proposes Renaming AI to Super Intelligence

Washington, September 30 (Udaipur Kiran) : President Donald Trump revealed plans to officially rename artificial intelligence (AI) to “Super Intelligence” during a meeting with technology leaders in Washington. He stated that a formal document announcing this change would be signed soon.

Trump argued that the term “artificial” does not accurately represent the technology and expressed a desire for the U.S. to maintain its technological edge over China. He emphasized the importance of self-regulation within the industry, suggesting that companies should work closely with local communities to ensure that data centers provide economic benefits.

“This is superior intelligence,” Trump asserted, linking the name change to a broader push for U.S. leadership in technology. He praised the officials present for their efforts and suggested that this technological advancement could surpass even the Industrial Revolution.

When questioned about the need for regulations, Trump highlighted the importance of existing laws and self-regulation, although he did not specify new regulatory requirements. He also mentioned that agencies like the Department of Justice and the FBI are equipped to handle any misconduct.

During the discussion, Trump warned against technology collaborations with China that could compromise U.S. secrets. He reiterated that the competition primarily lies between the U.S. and China, with no other countries holding significant positions.

Trump noted that he had spoken to Chinese President Xi Jinping about technology but kept the conversation limited to safeguard U.S. interests. He expressed a desire for technology companies to work closely with communities housing data centers, potentially offering support in energy supply, education, and economic assistance.

He claimed that areas with data centers have seen increased wealth and lower taxes, although he did not provide specific data or name any communities. Trump cautioned that if suitable locations are not found, projects might have to be relocated either abroad or to different areas within the U.S.

When asked about initial public offerings and security concerns, Trump indicated that a statement would be released regarding the meeting but did not directly address the proposal.
