Delhi Metro’s WhatsApp-based ticketing feature is now available on all routes

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has made its WhatsApp-based ticketing feature available on all routes. The feature, which was launched in pilot mode on December 20, 2022, allows commuters to purchase and recharge their smart cards using WhatsApp.

To use the feature, commuters need to save the DMRC WhatsApp number (91-8800333811) on their phone and send a “hi” message. The commuter will then be guided through the process of purchasing or recharging their smart card.
