New Delhi, November 28 (Udaipur Kiran): The auction for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 was held in Delhi on Thursday, where India’s top off-spin all-rounder Deepti Sharma emerged as the second costliest player in WPL history. UP Warriors retained her for Rs 3.2 crore using the Right to Match (RTM) option.

Delhi Capitals signed fast bowler Shri Charani, who impressed with her bowling in the World Cup, for Rs 1.3 crore. The franchise also bought Sneh Rana for Rs 50 lakh and South African captain Laura Wolvaardt for Rs 1.1 crore.
UP Warriors retained pacer Kranti Goud at her base price of Rs 50 lakh and signed experienced seamer Shikha Pandey for Rs 2.4 crore. Australian batter Phoebe Litchfield was picked up for Rs 1.2 crore.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru bought Radha Yadav for Rs 65 lakh and Arundhati Reddy for Rs 75 lakh. Gujarat Giants purchased Renuka Singh for Rs 60 lakh and New Zealand’s Sophie Devine for Rs 2 crore. The franchise also added Indian spinner Tanuja Kanwar and Australia leg-spinner Georgia Wareham to strengthen their bowling unit.
Mumbai Indians retained New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr for Rs 3 crore.
