Lucknow, September 16 (Kiran News): The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday late evening announced the transfer of 16 IAS officers. Vijay Vishwas Pant, who was in the waiting list, has been appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow. Current Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow, Dr. Roshan Jacob, has been given charge as Secretary, Food Safety and Drug Administration, as well as Commissioner of the same department.

According to the transfer order, Dr. Ranjan Kumar has been relieved from the post of Principal Secretary, Food Safety and Drug Administration, while continuing with his other responsibilities. Suhas L.Y. will hold additional charge of Youth Welfare and Provincial Rakshak Dal along with his current post.
Among other major postings, Chaitra B has been appointed Director General of AYUSH, Sanjay Kumar Khatri as in-charge CEO of Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority, Kanchan Verma as Commissioner and Secretary, Revenue Department, and Monika Rani as in-charge Director General of School Education.
Rajesh Kumar II has been named Director General of Tourism, while Soumya Agarwal takes charge as Divisional Commissioner of Prayagraj. Kinjal Singh has been appointed as Transport Commissioner, Brijesh Narayan Singh as Secretary, General Administration, and Manisha Trighatia as Secretary, Women Welfare and Child Development & Nutrition.
B. Chandrakala has been posted as Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, along with CEO of Clean Air Management Product Authority. Anamika Singh becomes Divisional Commissioner of Bareilly, and Arpan U will continue with his current responsibilities while also serving as Director General of Medical Education.
