Two Youths Killed in Land Dispute in Udaipur

Udaipur : Two young men, Tej Singh and Sonu Gachha, were killed in a land dispute in the Badgaon police station area of Udaipur, Rajasthan, on Wednesday night. The incident has sparked outrage and accusations of police negligence.

According to reports, Tej Singh and his friend Sonu Gachha were attacked with knives in a field by Tej Singh’s uncle Mohansingh, his son Devendra Singh, and a minor. Tej Singh sustained four blows to the head and two to the chest, while Sonu’s body was found later that morning.

Adding to the tragedy is the alleged inaction of the Badgaon police station. Tej Singh had reportedly filed a complaint of assault on his mother earlier that day, but the police reportedly failed to take any action. This has led to accusations that if the police had intervened promptly, the lives of the two young men could have been saved.

The incident has caused widespread panic and anger in the area. On Thursday morning, a large crowd gathered at the mortuary to protest against the police’s alleged negligence.
