Trivandrum Tops CBSE Class 12 Results, Chennai Follows

New Delhi, May 13: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the Class 12 board examinations, with the Trivandrum region achieving the highest pass percentage in the country at 95.62%. Chennai secured the second position with a pass percentage of 93.84%, while Bengaluru came in third with 93.19%. The Vijayawada region recorded a pass percentage of 92.77%, and the West Delhi region followed closely with 92.34%. The East Delhi region had a pass percentage of 91.73%.

Other notable results include Ahmedabad at 90.60%, Gurugram at 88.45%, Ludhiana at 87.92%, and Pune at 87.32%. The lowest pass percentage was recorded in the Prayagraj region at 72.43%, with Patna following at 74.45%.

In addition to the results, the CBSE has provided important information regarding digital documents and online services for students. Students can easily access their exam results and certificates through the DigiLocker mobile app, available for download on the Google Play Store. This app allows students to view their mark sheets, passing certificates, migration certificates, and skill certificates. The Umang mobile app is also available for checking results.

The board has clarified that digital academic documents will be made available through CBSE’s digital academic repository, ‘Parinaam Manjusha’, which includes mark sheets, certificates, migration certificates, and skill certificates. Students studying abroad will receive their digital documents via email through the CBSE DigiLocker page, while printed mark sheets and certificates will be sent through their respective schools. Special arrangements have been made for private candidates, who will receive electronic documents via their Aadhaar numbers.

For students in the East and West Delhi regions, printed documents will be sent to the addresses provided in the exam forms, while others will need to collect their documents from their exam centers. The board also announced that the process for students wishing to improve their performance after passing the main exam in 2026, as well as those in the compartment category, will commence on June 2, 2026, with detailed circulars to be issued soon. The entire process will be conducted online.

CBSE has emphasized that no changes to names or subjects will be accepted after the online list submission. Schools and students are advised to strictly adhere to the deadlines, as no applications will be considered after the final date.
