Udaipur, February 2 – Another tragic accident has occurred on the Gogunda-Pindwara National Highway-27, a stretch notorious for frequent mishaps. On Sunday afternoon, a high-speed car lost control, crashed into a divider, and overturned twice near Shivali Dam, resulting in the death of a woman teacher and serious injuries to two others.
The deceased, identified as Madhavika Rathore, was traveling with her colleagues Nimishka Pradhan and Karishma, both of whom sustained critical injuries. They were immediately rushed to Udaipur’s MB Hospital, where doctors declared Rathore dead. The other two teachers remain under medical supervision.

Accident Details: A Leisure Trip Turns Fatal
According to highway patrolling officer Bhagwat Singh Jhala, the three teachers from Udbhav Private School had gone for a day trip to Jawai on their weekly holiday. While returning to Udaipur, their car lost control while taking a turn near Shivali Dam.

✔ The car veered off balance, hitting the divider at high speed.
✔ It overturned twice, crushing the upper and rear sections of the vehicle.
✔ The airbags deployed, but the impact was severe.
✔ The windshield shattered, and the vehicle was completely wrecked.
The vehicle was being driven by teacher Nimishka Pradhan, who, along with Karishma, is currently undergoing treatment.
Immediate Police and Medical Response
Upon receiving the accident report, Head Constable Chaudhary Charan Singh and highway patrolling team member Bhagwat Singh Jhala rushed to the scene.

- The injured were found in a critical, bloodied state.
- Emergency medical aid was provided before transferring them to MB Hospital, Udaipur.
- Despite medical efforts, Madhavika Rathore succumbed to her injuries.
