Philadelphia, July 22 (Udaipur Kiran) – A shooting at a gathering in Philadelphia on Sunday night around 2 a.m. resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to six others. According to the police, over 100 people were present at the gathering in the Carroll Park area of Philadelphia. Authorities are currently reviewing nearby CCTV footage as part of the investigation.
Initial investigations indicate that the shooting involved multiple parties. Casings from more than one caliber were found at the scene. A 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other victims succumbed to their injuries at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. All the injured individuals are reported to be in stable condition, including one woman.
Inspector D.F. Pace stated that 25 to 30 shell casings were recovered from the scene. One person appeared to have been shot at very close range, suggesting they were targeted. Details about the purpose of the gathering remain unclear. Police have recovered one weapon but have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.
