How to Port to BSNL:
- Check eligibility: You can check if your mobile number is eligible for porting on the BSNL website or by visiting a BSNL store.
- Gather documents: You’ll need your current mobile number, a valid ID proof, and address proof.
- Visit BSNL store: Approach a BSNL store and request a Mobile Number Portability (MNP) form. Fill it out and submit it with the required documents. BSNL will provide you with a new SIM card.
- Porting process: The porting process usually takes 4-7 business days. Your service will be temporarily suspended during this time. You’ll receive a confirmation SMS once the porting is complete.
Remember: BSNL offers competitive data prices but has a limited 4G network reach and no 5G yet. Consider your data usage and network coverage needs before switching.
