UDAIPUR, July 7, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) : Shivina Jain won a silver medal at the 4th Mewar Cup National Karate Championship 2026 held in Udaipur.
Five-year-old Shivina Jain, an LKG student of DPS, secured second place in the Kumite category and won the silver medal at the championship. Her achievement among participants from across the country has been described as a matter of pride for Udaipur.
Coach Mahesh Sonawal said that building a career in karate is not easy, as the sport involves risks and the possibility of injuries. He added that outstanding performances by young children in such a sport serve as an inspiration for everyone.
