Jaipur, July 14, 2025 – In a continued effort to foster environmental awareness and conservation, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Jaipur Prant organized a successful “Harit Ghar Darshan” program and environmental seminar at the Orion Greens campus on Saturday. The event saw active participation from RSS officials across Jaipur Prant, Mahanagar, Vidhyadhar Bhagh, and members of the Orion Greens organization, collectively reaffirming their commitment to ecological preservation.

Tree Worship Marks the Beginning
In accordance with Indian tradition, the event began with tree worship, highlighting the cultural and spiritual value of nature. Participants performed ritual offerings to medicinal plants, emphasizing their ecological and therapeutic significance. The gathering pledged to protect and nurture these species as part of their environmental responsibility.
Guided Tour of Medicinal Garden
Following the ceremonial start, attendees toured the Orion Greens medicinal garden, where they were introduced to the scientific and cultural relevance of various herbs and plants. The immersive experience was designed to deepen participants’ understanding of India’s rich botanical heritage. The tour concluded with a light refreshment session.
Promoting Eco-Friendly Technology with “Eco Mitram” App
A special session was held on the “Eco Mitram” mobile app, which enables users to document and share local environmental activities. Participants learned how the app can serve as a digital tool for ecological engagement, tracking tree plantation drives, clean-up campaigns, and other green initiatives. Many volunteers pledged to incorporate the app into their community-based environmental campaigns.
Discussion on Future Environmental Plans
The seminar also served as a platform to deliberate on upcoming plantation drives and long-term environmental projects. Volunteers from various regions shared updates and experiences from their on-ground initiatives, fostering collaboration and motivation across organizational levels.
Thought Leadership and Guidance
The event benefitted from the insightful presence of Dr. Ramesh Agrawal, Regional RSS Sanghchalak, who stressed the integration of environmentalism into core RSS activities. Advisor Anand Swaroop Agnihotri also shared his thoughts, encouraging consistent, grassroots-led conservation efforts.
The event was seamlessly coordinated by Ashok Sharma and Neeta Upadhyay, who played pivotal roles in the planning, structuring, and smooth execution of the program.
