Pune, August 18: Former Rajya Sabha member Amar Sable of the BJP has stated that since 2014, the public has rejected Congress and Rahul Gandhi, placing their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He accused Congress and Rahul Gandhi of trying to incite youth through Naxalite ideology.
In a conversation, Sable emphasized that Maharashtra adheres to the ideologies of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Phule, Sahu, and Ambedkar. He asserted that the people of Maharashtra are aware of the truth, and whether Rahul Gandhi comes or goes will make no difference. He added that Rahul Gandhi is attempting to save Congress’s sinking ship, but his efforts will not succeed in Maharashtra.
Regarding the purification of the venue for Mallikarjun Kharge’s rally in Uttarakhand, Sable mentioned that Union Minister JP Nadda has expressed regret over the incident and directed an investigation. He condemned the purification of Kharge’s rally site, stating that it has been widely criticized across the country. He questioned the whereabouts of Congress when their leader Praniti Shinde burned Kharge’s effigy in Solapur.
On the student protests in Jharkhand, Sable remarked that Congress adopts a dual approach, revealing a disparity between their policies at Jantar Mantar and in Jharkhand. He urged Rahul Gandhi to clarify his stance on the atrocities faced by protesting students in Jharkhand.
Earlier, Sable noted that the country is under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in Maharashtra, under Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He highlighted that when the Chief Minister supports government officials, it aids them in working honestly and effectively. He cited Tukaram Mundhe as an example, who has launched a campaign against adulterated food and medicines across Maharashtra, receiving widespread public support for his department’s actions.
