Rituals Held Before Ram Temple Trust Meeting, Saints Pray for Champat Rais Reappointment

Ayodhya, July 22: Special prayers and Vedic rituals were conducted in Ayodhya ahead of a significant meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust scheduled for Wednesday. During this occasion, saints prayed for the reappointment of Champat Rai in the Trust while also demanding representation for saints from the Ramandi Vaishnav tradition of Ayodhya.

Mahant Sitaram Das of Saket Bhawan stated that a special puja was performed with the Mahamantra of Lord Hanuman and victory mantras. He explained that this ritual was conducted in the presence of Vedic scholars to ensure that the service and worship of Lord Ram Lalla continue seamlessly according to the Ramandi Vaishnav tradition.

Sitaram Das expressed his hope for Champat Rai’s reappointment to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, highlighting Rai’s significant contributions to the Ram Temple movement and the Trust’s activities. He emphasized that Rai’s experience and dedication should not be overlooked.

He also called for prioritizing saints connected to the Ramandi Vaishnav tradition in new appointments within the Trust, ensuring the smooth operation of the temple’s religious traditions and worship practices.

“Our prayer is for everyone’s hearts to be pure, clean, and peaceful. We firmly believe that with the grace of Lord Hanuman, Champat Rai will be reappointed to the Trust,” Sitaram Das said.

He clarified that if this does not happen, the saint community will escalate the issue. In the event of Rai’s non-reappointment, a memorandum will be submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, urging them to honor Rai’s sacrifices, dedication, and contributions to the Ram Temple movement by reinstating him in the Trust.
