Sai Tirupati University Organises Seminar

Udaipur, October 9 (Udaipur Kiran): Sai Tirupati University organised an awareness seminar on “Financial Literacy, Cybersecurity and Fraud Awareness” in collaboration with PIMS Institute of Computer Sciences, VIMS, VIFT and Venkateshwar College of Nursing.

SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) expert speaker Rizwana addressed students and explained financial literacy, safe digital transactions, cybercrime and important measures to prevent online financial fraud.

Focus on Safe Digital Transactions

During the seminar, Rizwana highlighted the importance of understanding financial matters and adopting safe practices while using digital payment platforms. Students were informed about ways to protect themselves against cybercrime and online financial fraud.

Ashish Agrawal, Union Chairperson, said awareness about financial and cybersecurity was essential for everyone in the present digital age. He urged students to adopt safe digital practices and make financial decisions after careful consideration.

Faculty Members and Students Participate

Dr Geetanjali Sharma, Professor at Venkateshwar College of Nursing, and Devarshi Mehta, Principal of PIMS Institute of Computer Sciences, attended the programme along with faculty members and students from the participating institutions.

The seminar aimed to make students more aware of financial fraud and cybercrime and encourage responsible digital behaviour to help build a safer digital society.
