The Note 13 series was launched in China in September 2023 and hit Indian stores in January this year. A new report says that the next-generation Redmi Note phone has been spotted in the IMEI database.

The release of the Redmi Note 14 series (expected)
According to a report by Xiaomi Time, Xiaomi is developing the Redmi Note 14 series, which is expected to launch in September this year. This product line will initially be introduced in China and could eventually be introduced in other global markets, including India. The report adds that the devices expected to be part of the lineup – Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ – have been spotted on the IMEI website.
Base models will have model numbers 24115RA8EG, 24115RA8EI and 24115RA8EC. Meanwhile, the Pro version is said to have model numbers 24094RAD4G, 24094RAD4I and 24094RAD4C, while the enhanced Pro+ version is linked to model numbers 24090RA29G, 24090RA29I and 24090RA. The “C” in this model number is intended to represent the Chinese version, while “G” and “I” are intended to represent the “Global” and “Indian” versions.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus also has the internal model number O16U and the code name “Amethyst”. The device will run HyperOS based on Android 14 as well as vanilla and Pro versions.
Redmi Note 14 Series Features (Expected)
The Redmi Note 14 series was recently reported to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. For reference, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Meanwhile, the Pro version of the Redmi Note 14 series is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. If true, it will be an upgrade to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset included in the Redmi Note 13 Pro. However, the Redmi Note 14 Pro may also have a 5,000mAh battery, which is smaller than the 5,100mAh battery in the Note 13 Pro.
