Jaipur, February 14 (Udaipur Kiran) – Rajasthan is likely to witness a change in weather next week, with rainfall expected in parts of the state amid fluctuating winter conditions. According to the Meteorological Centre, Jaipur, light rain may occur at isolated places in districts of the Jaipur and Bikaner divisions.

The impact of a new western disturbance is expected to be most significant on February 17 and 18. Prior to this, the weather is likely to remain clear across the state, with minor fluctuations in temperature.
During this period, a rise in daytime temperatures may bring a mild feeling of warmth, while morning and evening temperatures are expected to remain around normal, resulting in light winter conditions.
In the last 24 hours, Barmer recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 33 degrees Celsius on Friday. The district experienced slightly above-normal heat conditions.
Apart from Barmer, maximum temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius or above were recorded in Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Chittorgarh, Jodhpur, Dungarpur, Jalore and Pali.
Meanwhile, colder conditions prevailed in the Shekhawati region, including Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Fatehpur, especially during morning and evening hours. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 4.9 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur, while Sikar recorded a minimum of 6.5 degrees Celsius.
