Udaipur, July 20: In a major step towards digital transformation and national development, the Department of Posts is all set to roll out its next-generation APT 2.0 application across post offices in Udaipur, Rajsamand, and Salumber districts on Monday, July 21, 2025. Due to this system upgrade, public transactions at post offices will remain suspended for the day.

According to Akshay Bhanudas Gadekar, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Udaipur Division, a planned system downtime has been scheduled to ensure a seamless and secure transition to the advanced digital platform. “No public-facing postal transactions will be conducted on Monday, July 21. This temporary suspension is essential for activities such as data migration, system validation, and configuration, ensuring the successful implementation of the new platform,” he stated.
