New Delhi, August 12 (Udaipur Kiran): The Delhi High Court has granted relief to dismissed Maharashtra trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, staying her arrest until August 21. Justice Subramonium Prasad’s bench issued a notice to the Delhi Police regarding Khedkar’s anticipatory bail plea. The next hearing is scheduled for August 21.
The High Court also instructed senior advocate Siddharth Luthra, representing Khedkar, to file an application to include the UPSC as a party in the case.
Pooja Khedkar has challenged the Patiala House Court’s order in the High Court after her anticipatory bail plea was rejected on August 1. It is noteworthy that the UPSC has dismissed Khedkar, a decision she has also challenged in the High Court. She claimed that she was informed of her dismissal through a press release, and the UPSC later sent a copy of the dismissal order via email and to her address.
