Poco is expected to expand its F series with two new smartphone models: Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro. This smartphone series is the successor to the Poco F5 series released last year. According to a report from Notebookcheck, a device with the model number “24069PC21G” was discovered in the Geekbench benchmark.
The report claims that this smartphone is the upcoming Poco F6 model. Additionally, Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Communications Commission (NBTC) confirmed that the company plans to launch the 24069PC21G model as Poco F6.
Poco F6 series: What to expect
The Poco F6 reportedly supports 5G connectivity. According to the Geekbench listing, the Poco F6 is powered by a 3rd generation Snapdragon 8s chipset along with 12GB of RAM. The report also claims that the Poco F6 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3.
Meanwhile, the report mentions that the Poco F6 Pro has surfaced on Geekbench with the model number “23113RKC6G”. NBTC also recently confirmed the Poco F6 Pro with the same model number. Furthermore, the same device has already been discovered in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database.
The report suggests that the Poco F6 Pro may use an older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This assumption was made after checking the CPU core structure and the ID “ARMimplementer 65 Architecture 8 Variant 1 Part 3406revision 0”.
Additionally, the Poco F6 Pro is expected to come with 16GB RAM and Android 14. The report also mentions that the Pro version could be a variant of the Redmi K70 smartphone.
