Udaipur, May 2 (Udaipur Kiran): The annual general meeting of the Central Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha Sansthan was held at a private farmhouse ‘Mount Manor Villa’ near Debari, where members reaffirmed their commitment to preserving the unity and dignity of the community.
The meeting was chaired by Central President Ashok Singh Metwala, while former president and former MLA Maharaj Randhir Singh Bhinder attended as the chief guest. The proceedings were conducted by Central General Secretary Bhawani Pratap Singh Tana.
Representatives from several districts of Mewar, including Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Salumber, and Beawar, participated in the meeting along with members of various social and educational organisations.
Several dignitaries and representatives from prominent institutions and regional bodies marked their presence. Office bearers of the Mahasabha and district units also attended the meeting, contributing to discussions on key issues concerning the community.
During the session, multiple important resolutions were passed. The assembly resolved to safeguard the dignity of Maharana of Mewar at all costs. It was also decided that any individual making objectionable remarks against him would not be invited as a guest to community events and would be asked to issue an immediate apology.
The meeting further addressed issues related to community properties, including the removal of encroachment from the ‘Meera Med Path’ building and handing over its charge to the current executive body.
On the Bhupal Nobles Institution matter, members discussed compliance with directives or the formation of an independent committee. It was proposed to increase membership to 500 by including experienced individuals from across Mewar, irrespective of their student status. The assembly also criticised the district administration’s approach in the matter and demanded transparency.
Resolutions were also passed regarding elections and expansion of executive bodies across district and tehsil units of the organisation.
