Mumbai, November 12 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd gained nearly 2% on Tuesday after the company announced that it has received a ₹35.68 crore order from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India for the supply of Portable Counter-Drone Systems (PCDS).
The stock was trading at ₹702.60, up ₹13.10 or 1.90% from its previous close of ₹689.50 on the BSE. It opened at ₹698.00 and touched an intraday high of ₹706.15 and a low of ₹685.45, with over 32,800 shares changing hands during the session.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, having a face value of ₹5, currently commands a market capitalisation of ₹5,655.62 crore. It has recorded a 52-week high of ₹971.80 (on May 19, 2025) and a 52-week low of ₹401.00 (on April 7, 2025). In the past week, the scrip has traded between ₹706.15 and ₹646.95.
Promoters hold 53.20% of the company’s shares, while institutional investors own 7.15% and non-institutional investors account for 39.65%.
The new order includes the delivery of Portable Counter-Drone Systems (Anti-Drone), to be executed by May 2026. These systems are designed to detect, track, and neutralize hostile drones, strengthening India’s defence preparedness against unmanned aerial threats.
Earlier, Paras Defence’s subsidiary — Paras Anti-Drone Technologies — had also secured a ₹3.95 crore order from the Ministry of Defence for Radio Frequency (RF) Jammer-based Anti-Drone Systems, reflecting the growing trust of the Indian defence establishment in the company’s indigenous capabilities.
Paras Defence and Space Technologies is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of advanced defence and space engineering products and solutions, playing a key role in India’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” mission in the defence sector.
