Udaipur, May 18 – A tragic wildlife accident occurred early Sunday morning on the Udaipur–Chittorgarh railway line near the Bhairavaya Nagar area of Udaipur, where a panther was fatally hit by a train. The exact time of the collision has not yet been confirmed, but local residents quickly alerted the Forest Department, prompting an immediate response.

Eyewitnesses reported spotting some unusual activity along the railway track in the morning, following which the body of the panther was discovered near the rail line. Local residents informed the forest authorities, who promptly arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination.
