Udaipur, March 25 (Udaipur Kiran): Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University and UltraTech Cement Limited on Wednesday signed an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at connecting students with industry and providing them with advanced technical and practical knowledge.

University President Professor Hemant Kothari said that under this agreement, a “Center of Excellence” will be established for advanced building materials and sustainable development. Through this initiative, technical seminars, workshops, training programmes, and industrial visits will be organised for students and faculty members.
He added that the collaboration will also promote joint research, technical exchange, and skill development activities. This will help in spreading the latest technologies in the field of civil engineering and enable students to better align with real industry requirements.
The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Dilendra Hiran, Chairman of the Faculty of Science and Technology, who described the partnership as highly beneficial for students.
Dr. Mukesh Shrimali, Director of Pacific Polytechnic College, said the MoU will act as a bridge between education and industry, helping students gain better training and employment opportunities.
Later, Hitesh Sharma, Regional Head – Marketing, provided detailed information about the products and company profile of Aditya Birla Group. He also highlighted opportunities available in the industry and emerging technologies.
During the programme, Manish Garg, Regional Head – Marketing, elaborated on the “Center of Excellence for Sustainable Construction Materials” and encouraged students to focus on practical knowledge along with theoretical learning.
