Udaipur, April 4 (Udaipur Kiran): Students of Pacific MBA delivered an impressive performance at the national level by securing third position in the finals of the 29th Simulation Management Games organised by the All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi.

Dean Prof Dipin Mathur informed that seven teams from the Faculty of Management, Pacific, participated in this prestigious national competition, out of which two teams reached the semi-finals. The teams were led by Dr Narendra Singh Chawda. The event was held at MIT-ADT, Pune from March 27 to 30, 2026 under the aegis of AIMA, with participation from 78 teams representing reputed management institutions across India.
In the competition, a team comprising second-year students of Pacific Institute of Management—Janhvi Jain, Lisha Jain, Sameena Bohra, and Akshat Jain—secured third place in the finals. The two-day competition was conducted in five stages, and winners were decided based on the team achieving the highest profit.
Coordinator of Pacific Centre of Simulation, Dr Narendra Singh Chawda, explained that business simulation provides students with a unique opportunity to take managerial decisions in a simulated business environment. He added that the Pacific Centre of Simulation is a one-of-its-kind initiative in the country, helping students understand real-world business scenarios.
In management simulation, each team represents a hypothetical enterprise and is required to make decisions across various functional areas such as production, marketing, finance, and pricing strategies. These decisions are recorded in AIMA’s specialised ‘Chanakya’ software, which generates multiple outcomes based on inputs. Teams then respond to these outcomes in a structured sequence, similar to real corporate decision-making processes. Final results are generated by the software, which determines the winning teams.
