Udaipur, April 4 (Udaipur Kiran): A one-day workshop on Naad Yoga was successfully organised by the Department of Yogic Science at PAHER University, focusing on students’ holistic development, mental peace, and spiritual growth.

Around 50 students from the Yoga department actively participated in the workshop and gained in-depth understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of Naad Yoga. The programme began with a traditional inauguration and welcome of guests.
On the occasion, chief guest Mahima Shakdwipi highlighted the significance of Naad Yoga, stating that in today’s stressful lifestyle, it serves as an effective medium to calm the mind and brain. She explained that practising through sound helps individuals connect with their inner self and experience inner peace. Yoga trainer Mohit Sahu was also present during the session.
The programme was efficiently conducted by coordinator Dr Shubha Surana. During the workshop, Mahima Shakdwipi introduced participants to the core concepts, techniques, and practice methods of Naad Yoga, describing it as a bridge between the soul and consciousness.
Organising secretary Dr Jaswant Menaria played a key role in the successful execution of the event. He said such workshops not only strengthen students physically but also empower them mentally and spiritually.
The entire programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr Tej Prakash Ameta, whose leadership continues to promote activities contributing to students’ overall development. In his message, he stated that Naad Yoga is an important part of the Indian yogic tradition, offering inner balance and peace through sound and vibrations.
Students were also introduced to the principles, history, and scientific aspects of Naad Yoga, along with practical training in listening to inner sounds. Participants showed keen interest and actively engaged in the sessions.
Students described the workshop as highly informative and beneficial, noting that such initiatives bring new experiences and help create positive changes in their lives. Many participants shared that practising Naad Yoga improved their mental peace, concentration, and inner balance.
