
Banswara : A young man died on the spot after his mobile phone exploded while he was charging it. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon in Malwasa village, 12 kilometers from Banswara city.
The victim, identified as Jagmal, 44, was charging his smartphone when the explosion occurred. The blast was so powerful that it blew up the mobile phone, the charger, and the electrical socket. The entire board fell on Jagmal’s chest, burning his skin and causing his flesh to come out.
His family members rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.
Jagmal’s nephew, Motilal, said that Jagmal was charging his phone in his room while his father Kanji, mother, wife Kammo, and two sons were sitting under a tree outside the house. The blast occurred as soon as Jagmal plugged in the phone.
